OD Sphinx Entreprise Software is a two-factor authentication software. The two factors are: one ID card or token and one personal identification number (PIN). This type of authentication is preferred for logical access, because it facilitates the use of complex passwords. On the one hand, Sphinx stores each workstation's connection data. On the other hand, it enters this data automatically when a user logs in. Therefore, data entry is not observable. Thus, it ensures increased security when users log in. Additionally, OD Sphinx Entreprise Software is able to store payment information in the same manner.
The connection process is very simple: after booting up a computer, a Sphinx window will open. The user will be asked to present the ID card to the card reader of their workstation and enter their PIN code. Then, Sphinx will directly transfer the connection data into Windows. The registration of the username and password will only need to be done during the first connection. The Sphinx message will automatically be displayed for all future logins. It's that simple!
