Description
The 525100-005-S100 YMCKT-KT ribbon is designed for Sigma duplex card printers from Entrust. It contains 5 full panels on one side - yellow (Y), magenta (M), cyan (C), black (K) and transparent (T) - and 2 full panels on the other side - black (K) and transparent (T). On the one hand, the YMC panels allow you to print higher quality images, since they can recreate all the colors of the spectrum. On the other hand, the black panel allows you to print barcodes, text and monochrome graphics. Finally, the ribbon has a topcoat that is added to the card. This clear coating prevents fading and protects against abrasion. It is important to note that ribbons with the suffix "S100" are distributed by authorized Entrust resellers. Therefore, it is important to always use this type of ribbon with your card printer.
* Note: On one of the ribbon rollers, you will find a radio-frequency antenna called RFID (see picture). This antenna should not be removed as it enables the printer to recognize the type of ribbon installed in the printer's cartridge. If this antenna is removed, the printer will display an error message and suspend card printing. To fix this problem, simply place the antenna cap back on the correct roller and restart the printer.
