The Maxima Series are instant plastic card issuance solutions that meet the requirements of VISA and MasterCard for standard credit card personalization. Convenient and versatile, this series can easily be adapted into a variety of environments and applications. The Maxima 821 card embosser is the most popular model of this series. It is often compared to Datacard’s 280 card embosser as they hold many common features and have a similar mode of operation.
The Maxima 821 is perfect for decentralized applications that require immediate and small scale card issuance. There are two available versions: without (Maxima 821) and with (Maxima 821T) tipping module for embossed characters. It is compatible with most third party EMV personalization software solutions. This equipment is ideal for issuing financial cards (ex. credit cards/prepaid cards), ID cards, patient cards, gift cards, fidelity cards, and for controlling access to establishments. Therefore, it is generally used by hospitals, hotels, retail stores, transport companies, private organizations, banks/credit institutions and public administration.
